Dear Ezra Feldman,

Thank you so much for entering the 2023 Colorado Prize for Poetry. Final judge Felicia Zamora has selected Gale Thompson’s “Mountain Amnesia” as this year’s winner, but I wanted to personally let you know that out of 805 entries, “On What Sun” was among the thirty-five finalists. The judges–preliminary and final–thought very highly of your work, and it was not an easy decision to select just one manuscript.
